Avnet technology solutionsAvnet Technology Solutions, a leader in global IT solutions distribution, has announced the launch of a dedicated team focused on off-premise cloud solutions for value-added reseller (VAR), integrated software vendor (ISV), and managed service provider (MSP) partners throughout the United States and Canada.

The Avnet Cloud Solutions team is currently developing a portfolio of integrated and packaged offerings designed to be delivered on an annuity basis by partners. The portfolio focuses on areas of cloud computing that are in strong demand among end users and which are best served by off-premise cloud delivery models. Avnet will provide partners with offerings in a variety of workload categories, including productivity and collaboration, test and development, backup and disaster recovery, security, application hosting and management, remote management and monitoring, and data center as a service.

In order to develop its portfolio of integrated and packaged solution offerings, Avnet works with industry-leading cloud providers, selecting only those that align with the high-demand workloads that Avnet has identified.
